The homie Goldy shot this too me earlier. Some behind the scenes footage of the making a upcoming Binkis Recs documentary. For those that don’t know Binkis Records or Binkis Recs for short is a Hip Hop crew out of ATL who’s been getting busy for the past decade. Back in the late 90′s they were like Wu Tang with MAD members and associates but over the years the crew ending up shrinking down to Flux, Killa Kalm, Jax (R.I.P.), and Dj Mafioso.
Can’t wait too see it.
I first talked about this on Twitter about a week ago when I found out Public Enemy will be performing their classic “It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back” with The Roots as the back up band!

The 2nd annual Roots Picnic is sure to be in full effect.

In Atlanta, on April 22, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is offering a one-day discounted special known as “Popeye’s Pay Day” featuring an 8-piece mixed Bonafide chicken for $4.99 at participating restaurants.
“We know that our customers work hard every day and are feeling the pinch of our economy. That’s why we want to invite them to Popeye’s for their favorite chicken at a low price,” said Dick Lynch, chief marketing officer for Popeyes.
LOL at that headline. So on Wednesday April 22nd 2009, Popeyes announced that it was giving out 8 pieces of mixed chicken for $4.99. WHAT!!!!! Rumor it was not! People around the country rushed out to their local Popeyes to get dinner. And guess what happened…
I heard lines looked like Six Flags at certain locations. LOL
DQM is one of favorite boutiques in New York City. I like the unique theme of the store, and the staff has always been cool as hell unlike a lot of other boutiques in NYC. Shout out to Carl. I try to stop threw whenever I can to pick up some items.
Just noticed these will be dropping this Spring. Def gotta get my hands on one of a few of these.
