In the midst of a storm last night a dope show was put on at The Drunken Unicorn. The Regime(Regular Everyday Generals Initiating Mic Excellence) set the stage on fiyah!!! Big Rec(aka REConcile), Jawz of Life, Shred, Snub Zero, and K.P brought the thunder. The rain was soon to come though.

Big Rec’s ode to hip hop track “Real Hip Hop (Is Back)” which everyone should be familiar with was remixed and performed last night by Adrift Da Belle, CoCo Jones, Tiffany Michael, Boog Brown, Stahhr, & Aynjul. Damn! That is a Scenario 2009 for you!

I told Spree in person a year ago when I first heard this song, I wasn’t really feeling it. I feel he has better material personally. With that said I respect his hustle, and want to see the ATL homie win. So check out his new video for the song Word. Shot on location in Atlanta

I was back in NYC for the past few days. Bumped into the homie Mazzi at the Rocksteady 32nd Anniversary Concert in Jersey. I caught some footage of him getting busy on stage, so had to make sure he had it for the WB. Rocksteady was all fun, until that rain came! Then it got ugly. But still a great day, as well as weekend.
