This year marks the 4yr anniversary of the passing of James DeWitt Yancey known to most as Jay Dee or Jay Dilla. His music impacted most in various ways. I had the opportunity to participate in DILLA DAY IN THE A last October and rest assured is an experience I’ll not soon forget.

There’s a project in the works titled “TIMELESS” which will be presented as a 3 DVD disc box set 3.30.10

Check the video of Dwele getting it in on ANGEL w/ no rehearsal…

“The footage above is of Miguel Atwood-Ferguson’s arrangement of Dwele’s ‘Angel,’ backed by the Suite for Ma Dukes Orchestra.”

“Dwele sang Angel that night without rehearsal. It is a classic. Miguels’s arrangement is super heavy and Bob Power made it magic.”

Jazmine Sullivan Feat. Señor Kaos & Coultrain “Jumpoff Remix” (Prod. By Wajeed)

This was a record the homie Wajeed (PPP / Bling 47) produced for Jazmine Sullivan that didn’t make her last album “Fearless.” I jumped on it for the Remix. Produced by Wajeed and vocals by Coultrain. Here is some un-released heat, check it out.
