Download: P.SO – More Jelly (Mixtape)

Sorry for the delay, I’ve been meaning to post this for a minute. Earlier this month the homie P.SO released a new project “More Jelly” a continuation of his last project “Suicide By Jellyfish.”

I first found out about P.SO via the Squeeze Radio Show. DJ Sucio Smash was playing his “Mr. Hollywood” Joint, which was FRESH. I ended up meeting P during a summer trip up to nyc. Soon after I remixed his Mr. Hollywood record, and included it on my “Walk Softly & Carry A Big Brick” project (Fall 09). Not too long after we collabed on the Large Professor produced “Slick Money” which he included on his new More Jelly project you see here. He also dropped an album that a lot ya’ll slept on entitled “For Your Consideration” via High Water Music. P.SO has not only a talented emcee, but he’s become a great friend. Def make sure you check out his new project. Señor Kaos Says So! …

VIDEO: J-LIVE – The Way That I Rhyme

Check it out, the homie J-LIVE has been releasing classic material since the mid-90′s and has since become an underground main-stay. So it would be hard to believe that this is only J-Live’s first music video! … I didn’t believe it either, until I thought about it, I’ve never seen a J-Live music video.. Until now.

In anticipation for his new 6 song EP “Undivided Attention” (Available online and vinyl Nov 2nd) J-Live presents to you the “official” video for “The Way That I Rhyme” (featuring Boog Brown). Check out for more info.

J-Live f/ Boog Brown “The Way That I Rhyme” VIDEO from J-LIVE on Vimeo.

Shouts to J-Live. As a fan of his music for so many years, I’m honored to have had a chance to work on music with the homie and also be on the set for his first music video.

Events: Señor Kaos Will Be At “I’m A Beast” Art Show Sat. Oct 30th

Shouts to the homie Eric Nine. A few months back the homie E Nine took a few pics of me, which he altered and turned me into a beast like character. He also did the same for Dj Kemit, Flux, 4-Ize, and many more. This Saturday in ATL these images will be shown for the first time in a special art show taking place at Sound Table.

Events: Method Man & Redman Tomorrow 10.26 @ Masquerade

If your in ATL. Redman and Method Man will be in town performing tomorrow evening at the Masquerade. I will be in the place rocking alongside the homie 4-IZE.

Video: Young Guru Breaks Down How Music Artist Enslave Themselves.

Jay Z’s engineer Young Guru breaks down how artists sign up to be slaves by singing record deals with major labels. In the words of Cleveland “That’s what I was telling you before!” Maybe you all will listen now hearing it from somebody that’s more established in the industry.

The music industry is a well calculated, political industry. Slap anybody who tells you otherwise.

VIDEO: Señor Kaos Performs New Songs From “The Kaos Effect” LP For First Time

Recently in ATL at 529 I surprised the crowd by jumping up on stage while Producer Illastrate manned the Beat Machine. What commenced is me performing songs from my new album entitled “The Kaos Effect” for the FIRST time ever. Normally I would be accompanied by Dj Grandman. This time it was just me on the rhymes, while Illa played all the beats Live.

Just wanted to test out the songs, and get some crowd feedback. It went over pretty well, and I’m excited to perform these songs more, as I gear up to release my new album soon. The first song performed is called “The Understanding,” while the second one is called “It’s Like That” and features fellow ATL emcee Ekundayo.

Let me know what you think of the new songs?

Señor Kaos Creates Radio Commercials For “Greater Than” AIDS Awareness Campaign

Recently I was chosen to be apart of this Greater Than AIDS campaign designed to build AIDS awareness within the African American community across the U.S. The campaign consists of radio, TV, print ads, etc.

I wrote and recorded two radio spots (one 15 seconds, one 30 seconds) that will be played on commercial radio across the country. Clear Channel Radio, CBS Radio, Radio One and American Urban Radio Network all have invested into this campaign and have agreed to run the radio spots free of charge on their networks. This is BIG deal for me. These commercial spots may only be a few seconds in length, but it shows we are one step closer in spreading the positive message that Hip Hop can still be used as a tool to educate and inspire.

… So I got ahold the radio spots, and wanted to share them with my fans, so you all can check em out.

Shouts to ATL’s own Dres The Beatnik who you hear beatboxing in the background on these spots.

VIDEO: Señor Kaos, 4-Ize, & Punchline Performing @ 2010 A3C Festival

It’s still CRAZY to think this song was actually recorded on accident, and was originally just suppose to be a promo for DJ Rasta Root’s Classic Example radio show. The response to song has been amazing over the past year. So much so, that people ran up too me last Thursday like “Yo, I know ya’ll doing Classic Example tonight, right?” Part of making music is giving the people what they want.

So here’s some footage from last weeks A3C festival. Señor Kaos, Punchline, and 4-Ize performing “Classic Example” on the Jak Prints Stage Oct. 7th. Check it out.

Also here’s some footage from the gang rocking “Classic Example” at Apache Cafe during the show with Tanya Morgan.

Video: Señor Kaos featured in Pugs Atomz “The Decade” EPK

Big shouts to the Chicago homie and one of the hardest working cats I’ve known Pugs Atomz. I’ve known Pugs for WHEW I don’t even remember how many years it’s been now, at least 5 if not more years. He’s ALWAYS been on his grind from painting, marketing, emceeing, hosting a radio show, traveling, etc. He’s one of those cats that make it happen no matter what, and you gotta respect it. I recently got a chance to catch up with Pugs during this trip down to ATL for the 2010 A3C festival last weekend.

So although we’ve known each other all these years, me and Pugs had never got a chance to work on any music together. I was in NYC last summer, when Pugs reached out and said he had a song he wanted to get me on. I checked it out, wrote a verse while in NYC, and recorded it a few weeks later when I got back to ATL. The song has just been released recently and is called “Now Baby.” My verse was chopped up and ended up actually becoming the hook for the record.

It will be featured on Pugs’ new BBE project “Decade of Decadence” which drops on iTunes next Tuesday (October 26th), with hard copies hitting stores the following week (November 2nd).

Check out the official EPK below.
