Boston moves on to Conference Finals and Mets destroy Yankees

The Boston Celtics came to another decisive Game 7 this time with Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers and came out victorious in a 97-92 win. Paul Pierce recorded his first 40 point playoff game this year finishing with 41 points with 26 of those points coming in the first half. Kevin Garnett contributed another double-double night with 13 points and 13 rebounds. King James had an amazing night with 45 points but that could not lift them to a second straight Finals appearance. Boston wil face the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals. Game 1 will be this Tuesday in Boston.

During MLB’s Interleauge Play, the New York Mets and New York Yankees face each other in a rematch of the 2000 World Series, or better know as, “The Subway Series.” The Mets defeated the Yankees 11-2 yesterday at Yankee Stadium. Oliver Perez pitched 7 and 2/3 innings earning his earning his fourth win of the season. Home runs were courtesy of Ryan Church who hit his ninth home run of the season and Jose Reyes who hit his fourth of the season. The Mets face the Atlanta Braves in a three game series. Kaos, expect three L’s from the Mets in this one!!!
