ATL Emcee Señor Kaos releases new single with Stat Quo
Atlanta, GA US – August 4, 2010 – Senor Kaos, the relentless ATL raised embodiment of a lyricist is ready to attack once again, now with SoFlo Entertainment. His latest single “Bad Bad Man” featuring Stat Quo and Ekundayo not only knocks the bark of trees from it’s intense composition by Sweatbox Productions, but also feeds the same combativeness he delivered on “Classic Example” with 4-Ize earlier this year. This maxi-single also features “Strange Day”, which will release later next week. Both tracks will be available August 17th on I-Tunes thru SoFlo Entertainment.
“Bad Bad Man” will also be featured on Cornerstone Mixtape #130 produced by Dj Jaycee.
Señor Kaos has also just completed his new LP which be entitled “The Kaos Effect.” The new album features guest appearances from J-Live, Dynas, Punchline, 4-Ize, Binkis Recs, and is produced entirely by Atlanta based producer Illastrate. Look for “The Kaos Effect” album to be released (physically & digitally) fall 2010 via New York City label High Water Music.
Also… just an FYI everybody who got down on the Bad Bad Man single is ATL based. Sweatbox Productions did the beat, Dj Mr. Mind did the cuts, and Dayo, Stat, and myself are all based in ATL. Like Outkast said 15 years ago, “The South got something to say!”

I caught up with the homie 4-ize recently as he had just finished working on a record along with Gucci Mane. Word is that he’s working on a record with Duck Down’s Sean Price next.
After finishing records produced by 9th Wonder and Justice League for his next album “AwesoMania,” 4-ize is a force to be reckoned with, I’ll telling ya’ll now, stop sleeping.
Make sure you hit up 4ize.com to download that Don Cannon x 4-Ize project “Off The Top Rope.”
Recently I was interviewed by Philip Mlynar from Hip Hop DX who was working on this piece about the Atlanta Hip Hop scene. It’s origins, changes, etc.
Myself, as was well as other ATL Hip Hop tastemakers. H20, Talib Shabazz were interviewed. Also visual artist and emcee Flux and artist CX Kidtronix were interviewed. The story just dropped on Wed on Hip Hop DX. If you haven’t got a chance to check it out yet, def give it a read.
I told you a few days back the homie 4-ize was getting ready to release his new project… We’ll here it is.
It’s called “Off The Top Rope” and it’s hosted by Don Cannon. I personally am excited to be involved with this project, not only because I have 2 guest features on here. But also because I was able to be apart of history, as 4-ize continues to prove that real emcees exist in the south. It’s a “breath of fresh air.”

You can download this project for FREE by heading over to 4ize.com right now. Enjoy. Come back and let us know what you think in the comments section.
Shout out to Cannon and Eric Nine for the Fresh artwork.

I woke up with a phone call this morning that Guru from Gangstarr has passed away. If you’ve been following this blog, or just Hip Hop news in period, you know there is a lot of un-answered questions regarding his hospital stay / coma. From family and friends not being allowed to see him, to Solar running his Twitter page and saying it was Guru.
Today after I get the news, I got this note that was suppose to be hand written by Guru himself. After reading it, I have no doubt in my mind that Guru DID NOT write that letter. Furthermore I think Solar played a role in Guru’s death.
*Heavy Sigh*
With that aside we lost another great emcee who’s music influenced and inspired me since I was a lil dude. I listened to “Who’s Gonna Take The Weight” 30 times in a row the first time I heard it and feel in love with the combo of Guru on the rhymes and Primo on the Beats / Cuts.
Another one of my favorite songs is Soliloquy of Chaos. A few years ago, I remade the joint, and put my spin on it. In case you never heard it, here it is below. There’s also some live footage of my performing it live and shouting out Guru about a month or so ago.
