Events: Señor Kaos & Ultra Beast Invade Birmingham

This past Friday night (Jan 6th), me, 4-ize and the Bodega Brovas trooped out to Birmingham, Alabama for a live performance at the Bottle Tree Cafe. Shouts to the good folks at Lobotomix for holding us down and making sure things were straight. The Bottle Tree is a real nice venue that serves as restaurant int the day / venue at night. As far as the food goes the sweet potato french fries were jamming. As far as the venue goes the space is nice and the sound was crispy!

Me and 4-Ize performed a special Ultra Beast set which we rocked for about 40 minutes. I ran thru some of the records from “The Kaos Effect” and he ran through some joints from his latest project “Attack Of The Sea Monkeys,” before we linked later in the set to knock out collab records. Shouts to all the ladies who came out, and to the two young ladies who kept buying us shots of Jaegermeister like they were trying to get us pregnant. HA.

(Backstory): A couple songs into the set 4-Ize announced on the mic “I need somebody to bring me some Jaegermeister!” Like 3 minutes later we were being handed two shots, and I thought that was it. 5 minutes later the young ladies come back with more shots, 10 minutes go buy and more shots! HAHAHA! I told 4-ize these girls are either trying to kidnap us or get us pregnant… or both! Lol.

Haven’t seen any video footage surface from the show, but here’s a couple pics. Shouts to A.D and DJ Rahdu (BamaLoveSoul) for coming through and rocking with us.

NEW MUSIC: Señor Kaos Feat. 4-IZE “Everywhere” Prod. By E-Jones

As 2010 wraps up I think about all the things that happened or didn’t happen this year good and bad. I also think about who I spent the most time with. Musically speaking me and fellow MC 4-IZE spent a lot of time in the studio working on separate projects (Señor Kaos – The Kaos Effect / 4-Ize – Awesomania) as well as working on a joint project that should be ready for release in the new year. We also spent a lot of time in the car traveling around the south east working, performing, networking, and trying to make money. In the middle of doing all those things, we got a chance to meet a fresh producer via 9th Wonder from North Carolina named E-Jones. I would tell you he’s one of those people you should be looking out for in 2011, but I’ll just let you listen to the music and form your own opinion…

My new project “The Most Interesting MC In The World” will be released this Saturday New Years Day 1.1.11 via DotGotIt.com. Make sure you check for it.

This past Tuesday night Sept 14th Public Enemy made a stop in Atlanta to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their Fear Of A Black Planet album… Man.. to think it’s been 20 years.

Carolyn Grady of Rhythmic Images snapped some GREAT pics from the show. I liked this one personally.

It’s a shot of Flavor Flav rocking the Futura Designed / Yankee Inspired Air Force One Highs. Salute to Flav for being FRESH for 20 years.

Señor Kaos Performing at Atlanta Adidas Originals Store: Photos

Last Thursday I was invited to perform at the Adidas Originals Store in Lenox Mall by Kat Goduco during her “Mistaken Identity 2″ art show.

I choose to celebrate the life of RUN-DMC’s own Jam Master Jay, especially since last week we saw the 7th anniversary of his murder, with still no convictions.

I rocked my song “Automatic Classic” over Run-Dmc’s “Peter Piper.” A lil live Remix.

Here’s a couple photos from the night. Video footage coming soon.
Shout out to Chicagorilla, Jose, Wale, Dana, and everybody at the Adidas Store.

One of the highlights of my day was getting a chance to meet Newark, New Jersey Mayor Corey Booker. When I was performing he was in the front row observing, then I bumped into him backstage after the show. The coolest mayor I ever met.
