Yeah, you read that right, Carlmello / A.I. and the Nuggets lost to the Atlanta Hawks last night at Philips Arena (Hawks 104 Nuggets 93). I told ya’ll to keep ya eyes on the Hawks, Pay Attention!!! Jermaine Dupri, Chad Johnson (Bengals), Ciara, and La La were all in the place to catch the game. Iverson caught a Tech and was ejected late in the 4th.
The Hawks win victorious after beating the Chicago Bulls today at Home. Now let me tell you why thats a big deal!
The Atlanta Hawks have not beaten the Bulls since a 116-101 victory on April 9, 2004, THEY’VE BEEN LOSING TO THE BULLS FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS, THATS A LONG ASS TIME!!!
Joe Johnson scored 37 points, including 25 in the first half, and the Hawks beat the Bulls 105-84! But Im still noticing a lot of those seats at the home games are super empty. Even though the Hawks have been on roll lately the city is still not really supporting them. This is another case of people in ATL waiting until the Hawks hit playoffs before actually caring. Now… Im not saying these guys are a Championship Team this year, but there definitely a good team to keep an eye on.
The Hawks play Mello / A.I. and the Denver Nuggets this Tuesday night. I’ll be in the place to be, so I’ll have to let you guys know how it goes.
So I went to the Hawks home game tonight at the “Hightlight Factory” AKA Philips Arena.
I always try to catch a couple home games every season. Lebron brought out a lot of ATL’s Celebs – Polow The Don, Ciara, Chaka Zulu (DTP), Dominque Wilkins “#21 The Human Highlight” and even the Pittsburgh Steelers Jerome Betis was in the place.
The Hawks have a very good team this season, and there actually on a nice winning streak. At halftime the Hawks were up by 20.
It was actually a great game to witness and the Hawks ended taking the Win 90 to 81. Joe Johnson stepped up to the plate with 29 Points.
