I was saying this same thing during the All Star Game.

So last night in Phoenix the 2009 Slam Dunk Contest took place.
Rudy Fernandez kicked off the second round. Although I thought this was a nice dunk, he took too long to get it right. The clock expired, and it took him 9 attempts. We would not Rudy in the remaining rounds.
Next up is J.R. Smith. I thought J.R. was aiiiiiiight, nothing crazy thought. Would of liked to see him catch that one handed.
NY Knicks own Nate Robinson. Check out the second dunk by Nate on this video. What part of the game is that? I wasn’t rocking with Nate on this round, but he scored high enough for him to move on.
Champ Dwight Howard rocked the place with this first dunk. The second attempt…
I need cats to realize THEY WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DO THAT DUNK LIKE MIKE DID IT.
Dwight Howard back at it. Yep… Superman is back in the building!!! This time DH brings out a rim thats 12 feet high (Reg rims are 10 Feet). I like how DH brings out his own props, phone booth, extra rim.
In the final round, Lex Luther, I mean Nate Robinson brought the Kryptonite in the building and takes the trophy back to NYC. I fell outta my seat watching Nate do the Stanky Leg!
Congrats to Nate Robinson as the 2009 Sprite Slam Dunk Champion Now if the Knicks can just win some games.

Yeah, Yeah I know what your thinking! Hockey, fa real Kaos?
So recently thanks to the big homie Kat G I got to check out my first EVER NHL Hockey game live. I’m in NY Islanders fan, so it was great to get to the see the Islanders when they faced the Thrashers in ATL.
The seats were crazy, sat right behind the glass (or hard plastic).

And then….. this happened. The fights broke out! Maaaaan it’s crazy how they let the Hockey cats fight all they want, but in the NBA and NFL you facing Stoopid Steep fines. Things that make you say Hmmmmm….
If I could describe the game in one word…. FIRE!!!!
When it was all said and done the Islanders won the game by one point. 4 – 3
