I’ll be the first say Jimmy Fallon’s show is Terrible! But the performances are GREAT!!! This dude is picking up where Aresenio left off on the show tip.

So Flavor Flav’s 50th birthday was yesterday. And to celebrate, the Roots (who are Jimmy Fallon’s house band in case you didn’t know) had Public Enemy come out and perform “Bring the Noise.” Check out the video after the jump. Even though it’s 2009, it’s still crazy for me to see hip-hop getting this much love on NBC.

I like this Roots x Jimmy Fallon collab. Like I said last week The Roots are outshining Jimmy QUICK. Here’s a video of Clip of Ludacris and Dj Jaycee rocking with The Roots this past Friday night. I don’t ever think I’ve seen Luda perform with a band before.

After watching this looks like The Roots might need their own show pretty soon cause they definitely outshine Jimmy Fallon.

For those that don’t know, The Roots are now a main fixture on Jimmy Fallon’s nightly talk show. They stopped touring recently after they got this Gig. The Roots stop touring = They Got a BIG Check. Lol.

“After 20 years the Simpsons have changed their opening sequence. Last night the show had its premier in HD and with it brought the first revamp of the main titles since 1989.

While some of the old parts remain (Bart still writes on the chalk board, Lisa still saxes her way out of music class, and Homer still throws radioactive material down his shirt) most of it has changed to catch up on 20-seasons worth of character additions. Apu’s octuplets now appear in the opening as do Maggie’s nemesis, the unibrow baby, and the crazy Texan millionaire, all added since the original sequence was created.”
