What’s going on party people I’ve been missing in action for a few weeks. I took a trip up to NYC to handle some business. During my stay I got a lil a relaxing done.

Upon my arrival I was invited to a BBQ at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Shout out to the homies Fresh Daily and P.So. It was a beautiful day, and the food was SLAMMING!!!

This past weekend the homie Mazzi (S.O.U.L. Purpose) was in Atlanta for the Core Dj’s Retreat.

So after I got off of work today i decided to load up a 6 pack of Dark n Stormy(see video) and head down to Astwood Park and take some video. I try to go out to this spot at least once a week. Its a nice lil place to clear your head n get your thoughts together which is definitely needed sometimes. All is well out here tho!!! The weeks are flying by!! Im still waitin on some popeyes tho.. lol

So I finally made it up to Jersey and had to skate out to New York so I could get my passport situated as well as a couple other things. Let me start out by saying as a kid I used to HATE New York. Probably because i was too young back then to fully enjoy it. These days I have a whole new appreciation for the city.. EXCEPT FOR THIS!!

Maaaan i was ready to throw a brick at dude when he told me that. Aint even wanna sell me a lucie either. Bastard… lol. Being in the south has truly spoiled me because there is no way in hell i will pay damn near 10 dollars for a pack of cigarettes. I QUIT!!!! After that initial shock wore off i headed on out to run some errands.

Since I havent been there for a while it took me a minute to find my bearings and figure out how to navigate around the city. Once I got my hands on that Metro Card it was a wrap!! Shouts to Senor for putting me on to that day pass!!! lol Once i got that I was good to GO!

Turns out the passport place was right up the street from SOBs, a spot that according to Kaos has alot of dope acts come through.. had to take a shot while i was out there. Looks like they are gonna have some dope sh*t coming up.



Found a spot to get some good pizza and finished up what I had to do and I was free to roam the city! I made a couple different stops. Since every time Senor or ChicaGOrilla got their hands on some Garretts I never even got a single kernal of popcorn, i figured id head out there and see what all the fuss was about. and after getting a tin.. I am now a believer.. that shit is good as hell!!!

After that i did a little window shopping, just too see what kind of kicks they had.. and after that i caught up with the homie Suzen for a quick lunch.

All in all I had a pretty good time. Granted i didnt do much but the little time i had in the great city of New York i enjoyed myself.

So yeah, I was supposed to catch my flight out of Atlanta today. Got around to saying all of my goodbyes, packed up all my bags, and started on my latest journey.. the next destination, BERMUDA by way of New York/New Jersey….and how does it start off? By me missing my flight and having to sit in the airport all night until the first flight in the morning. LOL gotta love that ATL traffic and procrastination. lol so I stopped to get some unlimited shrimps & cheddar biscuits and made my way back to the airport.

So now I’m posted up in here, in desperate need of a drink, and bored out of my mind. I’m excited about the trip overall, even though its sad to leave Atlanta and my peoples behind. I’ll be blogging from afar from here on out!!! To those that have my math.. the phone will be on until FRIDAY, so email would be the best bet if you’re trying to reach me for any reason after that.
