SOHH SHUT DOWN by Hackers

WOOOOW… if you havent seen it already.. you can take a trip over to SOHH.com and see it for yourself. Or take a look at the pics below
Rumors are floating around that it all started in the forums… and escalated from there.. I think its pretty safe to say that SOHH for all intents and purposes got hit with a massive e-brick to the face… smh. As one of the biggest hip hop sites out there you would think they would have better security measures… but hell.. no site is beyond getting hacked i suppose. Itll be interesting to see how SOHH can recover from this joint.. if they can at all. I believe its been like this for a couple days.

Not surprised their site was targeted. Dang Gyant might not get a check!!!! I wonder what’ll happen when and if they catch the culprits

Those hackers were from ebaumsworld.com
It all started from the forums. Some of the SOHH users called out them, basicly they started a war.
Then the hackers showed SOHH that they shouldnt fuck with them.
If they recover, the hackers will probably take them down. Again and again.
From what i hear it was either folks at 4chan or ebaums that did it… whoever did it thought showed no mercy. There is personal information being floated around.. user names and passwords. Where does the line get drawn?
Ebaums keep blaming it on 4chan, but 4chan are just a bunch of japanese kids posting anime pictures. Ebaums definitely did it, they are a juggernaut hacking group.

This attack wasn’t done by ebaumsworld. I know for a fact that some guys from 4chan did this. But I won’t name names, for now at least.

it was 4chan, specifically posters in the /b/ section. i lurked both sohh and 4chan in the days leading up to the hacking and saw the threads made in /b/. 4chan hates ebaumsworld (even though apparently there are people who post on both), so obviously they’re gonna try to shift the blame to them. There are/were also threads made on 420chan and 411chan (http://411chan.org/raid/res/12.html).
No one should be surprised SOHH’s security sucks…they couldn’t even keep the forums up for a week, how are they gonna protect it from hackers?

This was not a racial attack. If it were a white supremacist (google: Hal Turner Anonymous) the attacks would have been thematically suited to that.
Anonymous raids of any variety (be it Hal Turner, Scientology, SOHH, etc.) are done to provoke a reaction from people who feel they are above and beyond the rest of us without any justification other than their own arrogance. Tall poppies.
Their reactions are priceless, because how dare someone call them out. How dare someone attack the intricately crafted persona they have formed for themselves in their own little world.
