He has released several albums through his own imprint Asylum Entertainment Group International as well as collaborations with other labels. His latest project, “Cappuccino’s Unauthorized Recordings” is due to be released via Internet only through outlets like ITunes. The album release date is June 21, 2011. Allowing the songs to be purchased initially as downloads will help Eddie Meeks continue to record songs and have fun while doing so. It will also allow for the songs to reach more customers in a shorter period of time. Compact discs will be manufactured at a latter date.

Fans will also be able to purchase the songs they like instead of purchasing the full album. This is what the music business is moving toward and it is a more customer-friendly approach. Technology has changed the landscape of the music business and selling music online as downloads is how many people buy their music.
