Happy Martin Luther The King Jr Day

It’s a shame I had to tell this lil boy that MLK is the Real King Of The South and not T.I. It’s also bad he’s born and raised in ATL and has NEVER been to the King Center…

Monday and Tuesday has un-officially become a two day Holiday. Today we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr’s Birthday (which is actually on Jan 15th). Tomorrow we celebrate the inauguration of the United States’ first ever African American President – Barack Obama.

I felt it was very important today on the Blog to make the connection with the past and the future. It’s important not to forget that only 50 years ago segregation existed in this same country. I posted Kings speech and Obama’s speech both below because I thought it was excellent example of how words turn into action.

Hopefully you all feel the same. Oh… and you’ve never seen the “I Have A Dream” Speech, Pleeeeeease don’t scroll over this and go down to the downloads. What better time to familiarize yourself with this speech than today.
