10. Von Pea of Tanya Morgan – dude has the flow and some witty word play
9. Joell Ortiz – After hearing him spit for the Obama mixtape I can see what all the hypw is about
8. Snoop Dogg – Sexual Seduction aside Snoop is still a relevant emcee and “Neva Hafta Worry” is the truth
7. Mouth Piece MP3 – I know most of you ain’t heard dude, parlay he’s coming
6. Lupe Fiasco – Not that I liked “The Cool” all that much but “We On’ is banging and dude continues to break the conventiaonal back pack rapper thing
5. Guilty Simpson - coming from Detroit dude cold as h*ll, real talk
4. Jean Grae - I mean really, what does baby have to do to get her just due. “Love Thirst” made me wanna do somethin’
3. B Reith – Dude is a sleeper out of Nashville who sings, raps, and produces and is dope
2. Phonte – Listen to the Mick Boogie mixtape where he spits over that Onyx joint about working retail
1. KanYe West – Lyrically dude has stepped his game up and he consistently delivers

For some reason, People think I only listen to Hip Hop from like 94 and earlier! I love a lot of new music, its just a lot of it is under the radar. Even the so-called underground cats dont listen to a lot of stuff I listen too.
