News: Run Dmc Get Their Own Street In Queens

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while now. On Sunday August 30th, 2009 in Queens, New York, 205th Street and Hollis Ave officially became known as Run Dmc Jmj Way.
Rappers spend song after song shouting out their block and neighborhood. To have a street named after your band is a HUGE accomplishment for Hip Hop.
I couldn’t make the event, but the homie J Zone fell thru and gave us the rundown.
