Jesse Jackson is not some dude hanging on the corner drinking 40′s, regardless of what you think of him he has fought for the rights of minorities for a long time. What have you done? I am talking SUBSTANCE not FORM. I mean seriously what have I done? I am an active member of my immediate community and I am a responsible husband and father!!! There is no disrespect to our elders. His voice of opinion isn’t good enough. You are talking about someone who has been active in many communities across the US not just one or the hood he lives in. Jesse and Al goes to many communities when events occur, Are you saying that things would be the same if jesse never spoke his mind, marched, and carried on with his community envolvement? That like discrediting every church leader, church supervisor, coaches and many others that gave their voice, time, money and didn’t get their just do because the people they were talking to didn’t listen. You may have not been motivated or encouraged too do better for yourself after hearing jesse speak but many people including your moms, pops, and other family members needed to her that they “were somebody” I’m not saying he should be president but respect should be a given. Even if your personal preference in music is dope, if you are promoting bs you are responsible for the kaos and junk food that the kids are listening too.
