Remembering Jax Part 14: JAX Birthday Concert Announced In Atlanta

This just in. The good people from Binkis Records x The Kaos Effect x and Mrs. Lisa Thurston present:

A special, once in a lifetime, Jax Birthday Celebration. It’s going down Thursday March 19th @ The Earl in Atlanta, GA.

One of the things Jax used to say he wanted too see was a concert with some of ATL’s Hip Hop groups who the city hasn’t seen in a LONG time. Enter: Minamina Goodsong, and Mars Ill.

So Thursday March 19th, 2009, mark your calendars. There’s no other place in the world you should be other than at The Earl in East Atlanta.

Line up reads like this Minamina Goodsong (Pgnut, A.D., T Challa, and Twain), Mars Ill (Manchild and Dj Dust), a special performance from Binkis Recs (Flux, Killa Kalm, and Dj Mafioso). This will be their first time performing since Jax passed in November 2008. Yours Truly Señor Kaos will be hosting the extravaganza along with Dj’s Rasta Root, Mafioso and MORE killing the Turntables!!

Also we’ll be screening the documentary about Jax that was put together by Eljay (The Stand). This will be a preview screening of the movie before every body else gets to see it. You def don’t want to miss that. I can’t wait to see it myself.

THIS IS SURE TO BE THE BEST HIP HOP EVENT IN THE CITY OF ATLANTA THIS YEAR. DON’T MISS IT. PLUS, I CAN ALREADY TELL YOU THERE’S GOING TO BE SOME SURPRISES YOU DON’T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT!!!
