This past Friday night (Jan 6th), me, 4-ize and the Bodega Brovas trooped out to Birmingham, Alabama for a live performance at the Bottle Tree Cafe. Shouts to the good folks at Lobotomix for holding us down and making sure things were straight. The Bottle Tree is a real nice venue that serves as restaurant int the day / venue at night. As far as the food goes the sweet potato french fries were jamming. As far as the venue goes the space is nice and the sound was crispy!

Me and 4-Ize performed a special Ultra Beast set which we rocked for about 40 minutes. I ran thru some of the records from “The Kaos Effect” and he ran through some joints from his latest project “Attack Of The Sea Monkeys,” before we linked later in the set to knock out collab records. Shouts to all the ladies who came out, and to the two young ladies who kept buying us shots of Jaegermeister like they were trying to get us pregnant. HA.

(Backstory): A couple songs into the set 4-Ize announced on the mic “I need somebody to bring me some Jaegermeister!” Like 3 minutes later we were being handed two shots, and I thought that was it. 5 minutes later the young ladies come back with more shots, 10 minutes go buy and more shots! HAHAHA! I told 4-ize these girls are either trying to kidnap us or get us pregnant… or both! Lol.

Welcome to 2012… The Year Of The Beast. It’s only right that I kick off the year with fellow partner in crime 4-Ize rocking some Ultra Beast sets for the people. My/Our first show of this year is going down this Thursday January 5th at 529 in East Atlanta. I say my and our because me and 4-Ize will both be doing solo sets before rocking an Ultra Beast set with special guests.

4-Ize’s new single for the song “Her Girl” leaked on the internet a few weeks back, but now it has been OFFICIALLY been released and it’s ready for all the fans to purchase. If you haven’t heard it yet, this record is CRAZY!!! I was blessed to sit in on this studio session with 4-Ize, 9th Wonder, and E Jones. I watched 9th make this beat as well as several other joints that day from scratch. When it was finished 4-ize went in on the verses (as he always does). While he was doing that I crafted something for the hook, based off what I heard in the sample. The final result is SMASHING!!!

Last Thursday myself and 4-Ize formed Ultra Beast and rocked at the Hip Hop DX showcase during A3C. Hip Hop DX is one the premier Hip Hop websites on the net right now, so not only was it a honor to rock their showcase, but it’s also a honor that our new video for “Hard To Quit The Rhyme” Feat. Anthony David is featured on their site today.

Last night Oct 6th kicked off the 7th annual A3C Festival. They called on the Beast Señor Kaos and 4-Ize to come set things off right. We rocked as apart of the Hip Hop DX showcase on the Creative Loafing stage along with artists: Joe Scudda, Homeboy Sandman, Kosha Dillz, Bronze Nazareth, Gods Illa, Freeway, and Random Axe (Sean Price, Guilty Simpson, & Black Milk).

Before I performed I hit the Kevin Nottingham stage and caught Lyric Jones, Bodega Brovas, Torae, J-Live, Boog Brown, El Da Sensei, and One Be Lo, set things off right. I missed Big Pooh (Little Brother) but heard he KILLED it. I must say Day 1 of the A3C Festival was pretty CRAZY! The fans came out to support, the artist brought their A game, and the sound was Amazing on all stages.

What’s going on everybody. My apologies for the lack of updates around here. The Kaos Effect’s own Inori recently blessed us with his presence from out of the country. In true southern hospitality I had to show the homie around the city. The weekend is over and I’m just getting a chance to really sit down.

The 7th annual A3C Hip Hop Festival will be taking place this weekend (Oct 6-8) in Atlanta, GA. I will be performing on Thursday night on the Hip Hop DX stage along with emcee 4-Ize and DJ Floyd The Locsmif for a special ULTRA BEAST set.

Señor Kaos and 4-Ize As Ultra Beast hits the stage at 10pm on Thursday night on the Hip Hop DX Stage. Other performances include Random Axe (Sean Price, Guilty Simpson, Black Milk), Freeway, Homeboy Sandman, Joe Scudda, Gods Illa and more.

I’ll be performing at 4-Ize’s Virgo Birthday Extravaganza tomorrow night at 529 in East Atlanta Village. Also you got Laws, Eddie Meeks, and Slimm Calhoun performing as well. You might NOT want to miss this one.
