  Kids are going to be kids. The bankhead bounce had fighting shit in it derived from the alto 52 or 52 hand blocks. Same from “throwing bows”. The Cabbage patch, running man and kid and play weren’t exactly contructive dances either. They didn’t help anyone figure out the Theory of Relativity.

  That said, our children are oftentimes a reflection of our culture. We can’t on one hand celebrate half nekkid women, Grand Theft auto, and American Gangster and on the other expect this not to filter to our children.

  this is exactly why my kids don’t watch tv much, and when they do, its under my extremely careful watchful eyes.
  creativity is good- but the idea this dance is concepted off of is fucking ignorant. blame whoever these kids live with.

  I came up in the era of The Wop, Fila, Roger Rabbit, Mike Tyson, Running Man, etc. And while these dances had no solutions to global warming, they encouraged creativity in a positive way. I am in no way knocking these kids but c’mon dawg this is too much!

  I actually like the dance. its so funny going to clubs and watchin people do it.. only because it actually looks like the person doing it is beatin an invisible person’s ass.. Lol. But honestly why is everyone thinkin its such a bad dance.. or song? Yeah they cuss in the song… but the meaning of WHOOP RICO.. is actually ‘WHOOP RICO’. i really dont remember people talking so much shit about soulja boy when he came out with “crank dat”.
