Yung LA @ Private Nike Event In ATL: Video

Earlier today I was invited to a private event held by Nike in honor of Black History Month. The event was a spoken word poetry competition for ATL metro high school students. Students from W.D. Mohammed, Green Pastures, and Cedar Grove H.S. all came out to compete to win a $1,000 scholarship for college as well as a pair of limited edition Nike Air Force One – Black History Month Edition Sneakers.

I took a few pictures as well as captured some video footage from the event. Here’s just a preview of the event. Greg Street introduces Grand Hustle artist Yung LA who came out to show support to the students.

There’s more where that came from… so stay tuned.
